Week 3: A Productive Long Weekend Break
This week has been packed with events, especially with the Higalaay Festival happening in Cagayan de Oro and the special holidays, which gave us a long weekend. While many took this time to relax, my groupmates and I chose to stay productive. We saw the break as a perfect opportunity to catch up on our project work. We focused on filling in the gaps in our manuscripts and making progress on our second activity for the course.
Even though we were all in different places since we went back to our homes for the long weekend, we didn’t let that stop us from working together. We coordinated online, sharing updates and ideas to ensure we stayed on track. It wasn’t the usual way we work, but it was a good experience in managing our time and responsibilities, even from a distance. This long weekend turned out to be not just about rest, but also about pushing forward with our goals as a team.

After the meeting and agreeing on the designs, we each went on to our respective tasks for the second activity. My task was to list and describe the hardware we used for our project, along with detailing the software components that are key to building the app. Additionally, I was responsible for creating a rough sketch plan for the future testing phase of our project. This plan outlines what we will need and how we’ll approach testing to ensure everything works smoothly. By dividing the tasks, we were able to focus on our specific areas and make steady progress.
